About The Everyday Canine

Home-based training in Leander

The Everyday Canine is a home-based dog training and boarding business at 905 Coulee Drive in Leander. It describes its work as training for real life, built on structure, safety and real-life skills, and aims to help dogs of all breeds become confident, polite companions at home and in public.

Training options

Puppy Foundations covers puppy obedience, evaluations and a Social Puppy Power Hour. Obedience and behavior work is offered through private lessons, personal and group classes, and board and train. The board and train menu runs from a 2-week foundational obedience program for puppies under 8 months (basic commands, crate and potty training foundation) to a 4-week Everyday Reliability program, a 6-week Freedom Program with e-collar training, off-leash reliability and public access work, and an 8-week Behavior & Mastery program for behavior challenges. Returning clients can book a 1-week refresher. Boarding and a Canine Club daycare with small-group play, rest breaks and training touchpoints round out the services; a temperament evaluation is required before joining the club.

What owners say

One family wrote that after a two-week lodge and learn program their dog "is more confident, better behaved," and another credited a three-week board and train with building leash walking and a reliable place command.
