About Hill Country K9

Personalized training in Austin

Hill Country K9 is a dog training business serving the Greater Austin area, led by owner and head trainer Sean Demers, who brings more than 20 years of professional experience. Its service area includes Austin, Lakeway, Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Round Rock, Steiner Ranch, Westlake, Bee Cave, Liberty Hill, Dripping Springs and Tarrytown. The team says many clients come after other programs have fallen short.

Approach

The six-part HCK9 Success System starts with listening and assessment, looks at motivation, emotional state and triggers, builds clear and fair communication, teaches obedience, impulse control and replacement behaviors, practices skills in real-world settings and then coaches owners to maintain the work. Clients get lifetime trainer support and a mobile training hub, HCK9 HQ, for lesson follow-ups, tasks and scheduling.

Programs

Options include private lessons at home, at the facility or in real-world locations, board and train, day training with pickup and drop-off in select areas, puppy training, basic and advanced obedience, behavioral rehabilitation, scent detection, off-leash training, and personal protection and security work. A Complete K9 Assessment evaluates behavior and temperament, and CGC preparation is led by an AKC-approved CGC evaluator. Consultations are free; call or text (737) 380-1151.
