Home-based training in Wimberley

Steph's Dog House offers dog boarding and training in Wimberley, run out of the home of trainer Stephanie Burghard, KPA-CTP, where dogs learn house manners in a comfortable, safe setting. Stephanie began training with her own dog, Concho, who spent many years as a therapy dog. She volunteered at, and was later hired as a trainer by, a nonprofit training service dogs in Dripping Springs, then earned her Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner certification and opened Steph's Dog House.

Services

Options include boarding, board and train, private lessons and day training. Clients describe work on good manners, polite greetings, walking, ignoring distractions, settling down and staying, and value the socialization dogs get with the other dogs in the home.
