About Flourish and Barks Dog Training

Positive reinforcement training in Pflugerville

Flourish and Barks is a Pflugerville dog training business with a playful wizarding theme, founded by Jordan Holdsworth, CPDT-KA. She describes herself as a certified dog trainer, behavior specialist and CGC evaluator, began working at an Austin dog daycare and training facility in 2012 and became a trainer in 2016. She has held the CPDT-KA since 2018, and her background as a licensed massage therapist shapes a whole-dog view of behavior.

Method

Training uses positive reinforcement and mutual respect, explaining the why as well as the how. Focus areas are basic obedience, reactivity and fear-based behaviors, confidence building and custom behavior plans.
