Kelly's Knine training (KNine Training Co.) is a dog training business serving Mico and the San Antonio area run by Kelly Wesch, who has worked in animal care services for the last 20 years, starting as a veterinary technician in San Antonio. Kelly earned a certificate as a canine training specialist at Starmark Academy in 2016, an intensive 3-month live-on-campus course, and also does service work dog training for people with disabilities or special needs and works for a rescue organization.

Programs

Due to current demand, the business is focusing on its Board and Train program, which typically lasts three weeks and brings the dog into the trainer's household for daily training and socialization with other people and animals. Obedience training covers basic to advanced skills for dogs 6 months or older, including sit, stay, heel, door manners, house manners and walking properly on a leash. Boarding is offered to clients who have completed the board and train, as space allows. Military and first responder discounts are available.
