About Helping Hand K9 Solutions

Home-based board and train in San Antonio

Helping Hand K9 Solutions is a San Antonio dog training business whose motto is "Educated humans = better trained dogs." Training takes place in a structured, real-life home environment, so dogs learn behaviors that carry over into everyday living. The trainer brings over 14 years of professional experience training pet dogs, military working dogs, police K-9s and service dogs.

Programs and prices

The 14-Day Board & Train ($2,000) builds foundational obedience: Sit, Down, Stay, Heel and Place, with basic off-leash recall in low-distraction settings. The 21-Day Board & Train ($3,000) emphasizes off-leash reliability, impulse control and neutrality, with training in parks, stores and on sidewalks. The 30-Day Board & Train ($4,000) is built for dogs that need behavior modification for reactivity, anxiety or poor emotional regulation, plus advanced off-leash control. Every program includes two progress videos per week and a private lesson at pickup. Behavior modification for aggression, anxiety and excessive barking and socialization work are also offered.
