About Romping Dogs Dog Training

What they offer

Romping Dogs Dog Training is led by Kat Camplin, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA, KPA-CTP, and offers in-home dog training throughout Redding and greater Shasta County, including Bella Vista, Palo Cedro and Shasta Lake. Sessions can also be held in public, dog-friendly places such as parks and outdoor cafes, and virtual training and behavior consultations are available.

Behavior help

The focus is on problem behaviors linked to developmental phases and fear, such as potty training, barking, jumping, mouthiness, fear, reactivity and destructive behavior. Programs suit puppies, adolescent dogs and recently adopted rescue dogs, and each in-home or public appointment includes 30 days of phone and email support.

Approach

Kat specializes in positive reinforcement training and canine behavior consulting and has served as president of a local obedience club.
