About PetSmart Dog Training

South John Young Parkway store

This PetSmart sits at 8219 S John Young Pkwy in Orlando, in Sand Lake Corners South. Accredited trainers at this location base every class on positive reinforcement, working with puppies and adult dogs alike.

Training options

Classes here follow a structured plan where each session builds on the last, so skills carry over into daily life. In a group, a dog practices answering cues around other dogs and everyday distractions. Private sessions move at the dog's own pace instead, away from a group setting. Once the basics are solid, an advanced class picks up from there. Owners planning several classes can bundle them in a savings package, and what a dog learns is meant to keep going at home after each session ends.
