About Jeanine’s Professional Dog Training

An independent trainer in Sarasota

Jeanine's Professional Dog Training is a Sarasota business that describes itself as "one excellent, knowledgable trainer… not a Franchise." Jeanine says she has been training dogs since 1974, with a focus on building a relationship of trust through bonding and training, and she lists endorsements from veterinarians, local humane societies and the Sarasota Obedience Training Club. Her motto is that "every moment you spend with your dog is a training moment."

Awards

She was voted Best Obedience Dog Trainer in the Sarasota's Pets Choice Awards in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, and named Favorite Dog Trainer in the 2010 Natural Choice Awards.

Classes and lessons

Group classes include AKC STAR Puppy, Beginner Obedience for family manners and Canine Good Citizen. Private and semi-private lessons are offered, along with training for children and their dogs and a Headstart Stay & Learn program.
