Ryder's Dog Training is a Punta Gorda dog training business founded in May 2024 by Cole Glover, who describes himself as a professional dog trainer and K9 expert. The business is named after Ryder, a foster dog Cole trained and then adopted. Cole was mentored for more than three years by a former K9 handler and trainer for the Miami Police Department, and his mission is to help owners and dogs communicate effectively by coaching both the dog and the owner.

Programs

The 4 Week On Leash Board and Train, his most popular program, works in a controlled, distraction-free environment on sit, down, heel, stay and loose-leash walking, with the goal of a calm, focused dog in public. The 6 Week Off Leash Board and Train adds off-leash reliability on top of the on-leash work. Private lessons give owners personalized guidance on issues such as barking, anxiety and basic obedience, and also serve as an initial consultation before a board and train.
