About Sit Means Sit Jacksonville Dog Training

In-home training across Jacksonville

Sit Means Sit Jacksonville is a local franchise offering in-home dog training in all areas of Jacksonville, for any dog, any age and any problem. Every program starts with a free demonstration and consultation, after which the trainers build a custom package and quote based on the dog's age, temperament, previous training and the owner's goals. The local number is (904) 834-6364.

Programs

Puppy Pre School covers potty training, socialization, confidence building and the foundation for obedience with marker training. The Immersion Board and Train, the most popular program, includes field trips and exercise sessions, at least 3 transfer lessons, lifetime phone consultations and at least a year of group class. Private lessons can take place in the owner's home, within mileage limits, and include lifetime phone consultations. Board and Tune, for existing clients only, is a refresher stay of at least 8 days at $65 per day, or $80 per day on holidays.

Method

The Jacksonville team uses an attention-based system with a variety of training tools, including the Sit Means Sit remote electronic training collar, which it describes as delivering a low-level, adjustable cue. The stated aim is a happy, relaxed and obedient dog.
