About Frequency Canine Dog Training
Training, day training and care in one place
Frequency Canine is a veteran-owned dog training company in Pensacola offering private coaching, structured day training, group classes, daycare and boarding. Its founder is a former military dog handler and trainer, and the team cites over 30 years of combined experience in canine behavior. It describes a decade of serving the Florida Panhandle, from Pensacola to 30A, including Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Milton, Pace, Crestview and Fort Walton Beach, with training in Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties.
Programs and approach
One-on-one training comes in 6-week and 10-week hybrid programs with interest-free payment options, and group classes run quarterly. Day training mixes structure, enrichment and trainer-led play in small pods. The team says it specializes in dogs turned away elsewhere, including leash reactivity, fear and resource guarding, and uses e-collars or prong collars only when they fit, introduced slowly. Its philosophy is the "three E's": engaged, enriched and enough. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-6pm, and Friday to Sunday by appointment.
What owners say
Christina A. wrote that trainer Luisa fixed their 5-year-old German Shepherd's running off, and that "after our first training he was walking on a leash no problem."
