About Livable Dog, LLC

Lessons where you live

Livable Dog, LLC is an in-home dog training business based in Crawfordville, serving Wakulla County and the greater Tallahassee area. Owner and trainer Kim Barber, IACP-CYNX-L, offers personalized puppy and dog training, behavior modification and obedience, coming to the owner's home and working around the owner's schedule. She compares a professional trainer to a coach: the owner sets the goals and she helps reach them.

Approach

Kim writes that she has studied with several nationally and internationally recognized trainers and routinely attends seminars to stay current with techniques, tools and philosophies. She applies Training Between the Ears (TBTE) throughout her training, especially for behavior modification, and draws on the play-based work of GRC Dogsports, where she is an officer and a certified Social Responsibility Judge.

Getting started

New clients begin with a free consultation, and together owner and trainer set the lesson plan.
