Maggie and I love going to class together! The staff is super nice and great with my pup! They are knowledgeable and the class is structured great! Maggie is a rescue and started at 6 months. She’s quick to pick up some things, slower with others, but what’s important is that I’m learning the skills I need to teach her at her own pace at home and she’s getting socialized with other pups, people and in other ways! I would recommend group classes for any new pup parent!

About 1.5 years ago, I started agility training with Jennifer Walsh at Lucky Dog. It's important to point out that months prior to starting at Lucky Dog, I was asked to leave another agility program because they felt my dog and I did not have the aptitude for agility. Lucky Dog has been a great experience for us! Not only have we learned the basics of agility, but Jen has helped me to deepen the bond I have with my dog and better understand how to motivate him and bring positive energy into our training. Jen has provided us with tons of encouragement, support, and positive reinforcement. Before coming to Lucky Dog, I started to really doubt whether or not we would be able to compete in agility trials. However, I am thrilled to report that we have begun competing and placed first in three events at our first CPE trial! I am so grateful to Lucky Dog and Jen for helping us to grow in this super fun sport. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lucky Dog and Jen to anyone interested in learning agility!

I can’t recommend Lucky Dog Training enough. In or around Canton, this is where you want to take your pups. Whether you’re raising a family dog or the next AKC top show dog, Lucky Dog Training will get you right. They teach and train using strictly positive reinforcement, which was very important to me- I didn’t want to zap my dog or pin her to the ground every time I had to correct her, as I’ve heard other places teach you to do. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sam and Shanda, who are extremely knowledgeable and kind, and you can tell they have a real love and passion for the work they’re doing. They seem to try and accommodate everyone, and even in group settings, can give helpful tips to anyone who is struggling with the task at hand. Everything we go over in class is very easily applied at home. The training facility is nicely set up and kept clean. I recently got my first dog and had zero clue where to start. With Lucky Dog Training, I now feel more confident and sure about what I’m doing. Sam has done an amazing job teaching and showing me how to work with my dog. Don’t even get me started on the AFFORDABILITY! I honestly believe Lucky Dog Training is the best bank for your buck, and for your pups.
