We just boarded our 3-year-old golden doodle for the 1st time. Our dog Seven had been going to A Walk I =n The Park for about 3 months previously. I cannot tell you the change we have seen in Seven. The enrichment and attention given to their guest is recognizable. We also groom Seven at A Walk in the Park. Rachel the groomer did an outstanding job. We do have a relationship with another groomer, but if we ever need to look for a strong replacement Rachel would be it. Thanks to Dirk and the Team for caring and doing a great job!

This place has been an absolute gift to our family. From the moment we first walked in, we could feel the warmth, care, and professionalism that sets them apart. Our dog, Jasper, only goes once a week, but it’s the highlight of his week — he can’t wait to get through the door every time. It’s clear he feels safe, happy, and loved there. We also use their overnight services, and I’m constantly impressed by the level of attention and kindness they provide. On one occasion, our dog became ill while in their care, and I was blown away by how quickly and compassionately they responded. They communicated with us right away, took him to the vet, kept us updated throughout, and cared for him as if he were their own; it meant the world to us.
One thing that really stands out is the consistency of the staff. The same friendly, dedicated faces greet us each time, and that stability makes such a difference. It shows they care about their team as much as the animals — and it helps dogs feel even more comfortable and at home.
It’s incredibly rare to find a place that blends true expertise with such heartfelt care, and I’m so thankful to have found exactly that at A Walk in the Park!

I have two female pit bulls that are 1.5 yrs and have been going to a walk in the park from 1-3 days per week since they were old enough to go to daycare. They literally shiver with excitement waiting to go into the facility when I drop them off. I did training here with them and they are SO well behaved. The have been socialized with other dogs and different people at the daycare and I am so pleased with their behavior. It has also been great to have a place to board them when I am out of town and this daycare gives me peace of mind knowing they are safe and happy. They have all different themes and activities for the dogs and it really helps build the dogs confidence, especially if your dog is a little timid or fearful of things.

I've been with Walk in the Park for a year now. My pup gets all of his grooming and boarding done here. U love they have someone there 24 hours for boarding. It gives me piece of mind. They do a great job with grooming. Staff is always friendly, they remember you and prices are fantastic!

This is our 6th year coming to AWITP. Riley is now 9 and she still gets excited every time we pull in to the parking lot.

The Little Pack is one of a kind. A group of only little dogs with their own special play yard outside and their own special play room inside! Great place for both big and little dogs!!!

Dirk and his staff are truly amazing. Dirk is extremely knowledgeable about dog behaviors and he makes sure his staff is well trained and educated. Riley loves her time at daycare – she is always happy going in and just as happy at the end of the day. The kennel free environment is awesome and the dogs are never left alone overnight! Riley also gets groomed at the “ranch”- she does a great job and his gentle with the dogs. Dirk also offers free services like group dog walks – he is always willing to help others with any dog issues they may have. AWITP is the best!
