About Advanced Sporting Dogs

Advanced Sporting Dogs is a gun-dog operation. The published menu is general retriever training, versatile gun dog training, shed dog training, troubleshooting and basic obedience – so a pet owner can book the obedience work, but the center of gravity is the working dog.

Method

The site says the training regimens are designed to build and enhance canine athletes, with the emphasis on working retrievers and versatile gun dogs, and it publishes its philosophy, its tools, its grounds and its training materials as separate pages rather than leaving them implicit.

Background

The business is owned and operated by Matt Manger, who says it grew out of his own dogs' performance in the field from 2007 onward. His own promise on the site is characteristically plain: "I don't guarantee results but I guarantee the effort." The address is 376 Holmes Road, Holmes.
