About All Fur Dogs

Daycare, boarding and training in Austin

All Fur Dogs is a locally owned daycare, boarding and training business in Austin that began as Austin Area Dog Training nearly twelve years ago. It is open 365 days a year, with short and long term boarding in roomy suites and supervised daycare both indoors and outside, which the team describes as a home away from home where dogs can exercise and play safely. The business also runs a retail side.

Training approach

Training is led by Andy, who has spent years working with dogs and their families in the area. He is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and practices the APDT LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach. He is described as a firm believer in positive reinforcement training and in building a bond with the dog above all else.

Local recognition

All Fur Dogs says it was voted Best Boarding/Kennel in Mower County 2025, five years in a row, and names Best Customer Service in Mower County 2024 as well.

What to ask

Ask which training formats are available, such as private lessons or classes, and about pricing and scheduling for training alongside daycare or boarding.
