About American Canine Coach

What they offer

American Canine Coach has an office on North Argyle Avenue in Margate City and works with dog owners across Atlantic County and the Jersey Shore. Programs cover puppy training, obedience support, board and train, and behavior modification for dogs that need more structure.

Common problems

Owners come for help with puppy manners, leash pulling, jumping, barking, lack of focus, anxiety, reactivity and other behavior problems. Training plans are built around the dog's needs and the owner's goals, with a focus on behavior that works in daily life.

Board and train

In the board and train program, dogs live and train in a home-based environment while working on obedience, manners, leash skills, impulse control and behavior goals. Day training and a puppy boot camp are offered too, and an assessment helps owners choose the right program.
