About Angel Dogs AZ Inc

What they offer

Angel Dogs AZ is a therapy dog organization in Mesa that runs training programs for dogs and their handlers. It offers professional and volunteer therapy dog training and a variety of classes, including therapy dog classes that prepare teams for their evaluations.

Its work

The organization places therapy dog teams with public school students and staff and with mental health patients, for companionship, stress relief and behavioral support in classrooms and counseling offices. Its animal assisted therapy program was developed in partnership with East Valley K9 to make sure dogs are properly trained and their temperament suits the work.

Who it suits

This is for owners who want to train a dog for therapy work rather than for everyday pet manners. Ask about the class schedule and what evaluation your team would prepare for.
