About Aspire Dog Training

What they offer

Aspire Dog Training is run by a certified dog trainer and canine behavior consultant and teaches classes at its Midland Road location in Poway and at a second location in Ramona. The team describes itself as full-spectrum trainers: all levels of AKC dog and puppy obedience classes, private training, and service and therapy dog training.

Behavior help

The trainers take on behavior modification for barking, crate and potty training, separation anxiety, digging, aggression toward animals or people, fearfulness, socialization and bad manners, and they help families prepare a dog for the arrival of a baby. The site explains when a dog needs a behaviorist rather than a trainer.

Good to know

Private training does not cost extra for a second dog, and classes offer a discount for multiple dogs with separate handlers. A groomer and veterinary assistant is part of the team.
