About Bairds Waggin Dog Training

What they do

Bairds Waggin Dog Training is a Neosho dog training company serving Neosho and the surrounding

area. The published service list is obedience training, advanced training, crate training,

CGC and PAT training, behavior modification and refresher courses. The services page says the

company was set up over 14 years ago in Neosho.

How the classes are organized

Crate training is treated as its own program, which the site describes as the problem owners

most often bring to them. Behavior modification is described as being for dogs who struggle

with fear, anxiety, mild aggression and food aggression, and as separate from the regular

obedience and advanced classes. Refresher courses are for owners who have already passed

obedience or advanced with Bairds and need a top-up after a change at home. CGC and PAT

training is aimed at future emotional-support dogs, therapy dogs and upcoming service dogs,

and is framed around keeping a dog calm and unobtrusive in public spaces. The home page also

says owners can group or board and train with the company's partner, King Style Dog Boarding.

Approach

The services page states that the company believes in correcting the behavior of the dogs

rather than punishing them when they misbehave, and describes reading each dog's learning

style rather than applying one method to every breed. The home page advertises training for

dogs with special needs such as blindness or deafness, a 10% discount for shelter dogs and

veterans, and a discount for military families.
