About Bark Busters Home Dog Training Eden Prairie

In-home training in the West Metro

Bark Busters Home Dog Training Eden Prairie is run by Michael and Lydia O'Leary, who describe themselves as dog behavioral therapists and trainers serving Eden Prairie, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Minnetonka and surrounding communities. Michael was raised in Eden Prairie and Lydia grew up in Sauk Rapids. They write that they found the method after trying many others with their own dog, Raleigh, who pulled on leash and jumped on visitors.

Method and services

Training takes place in the client's home, where the page notes behavior problems naturally happen, and virtual coaching and fully remote options are also offered. The system is described as based on natural canine communication, using body language and voice tones dogs understand. Services include in-home obedience, puppy training (crate, potty and leash training, nipping and chewing), separation anxiety, aggression, excessive barking and other severe behavior issues such as sibling rivalry. Michael is certified by the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and training is backed by the brand's Life of Dog Support Guarantee.

What owners say

Client Hannah C. wrote that the O'Learys were "patient, kind, and genuinely invested in Ruby's success" and that the family now feels "so much more confident as dog owners."
