Boarding and training at the airport

Bark & Zoom is a 24/7 pet boarding facility in Del Valle, on the grounds of the Austin airport, operated by Taurus Academy, a locally founded company credited with over 20 years of daycare, training and boarding for Austin-area dogs. Readers of the Austin Chronicle voted it Best of Austin 2025. Travelers can drop off a pet, park in the adjacent covered valet lot and ride a shuttle to the Barbara Jordan Terminal.

Training options

Training runs from private sessions to a Board & Train program and puppy classes. Day Training packages are an intensive daytime boot camp aimed at basic behavior issues, with the dog going home at the end of each day. Daycare is available around the clock.

The facility

Dogs get indoor and outdoor play yards, a covered guitar-shaped pet pool, enrichment activities such as Cuddle Time, and a choice of indoor kennels or luxury boarding suites, with dogs grouped in yards by size, play preference and disposition. Grooming and cat boarding are offered too.
