About Barks & Bones LLC

A family-run dog center

Barks & Bones is a dog daycare, boarding, spa and training center at 845 SE 47th St in Cape Coral. It is run by Alex and Katja Timmermann, who are originally from Germany and describe themselves as certified dog trainers and behavior consultants with over 17 years of experience in the dog industry. Their approach is described as rooted in kindness, patience and understanding, with personalized attention for each dog.

Training and care

Alongside daycare and boarding, the Timmermanns offer obedience training and behavioral consultations. Daycare is built around supervised play with other dogs, toys, agility equipment and interactive games, and trained staff monitor every play session. Boarding guests get 24/7 camera access for their owners, and there is no extra charge for medications or special dietary needs. The facility uses camera surveillance and secure fencing, and the business is a member of the International Boarding & Pet Services Association.

Hours

Barks & Bones is open Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 10 pm, all year round. Reach the team at (239) 471-7133 or hello@barksandbones.us.

What to ask
