About Beastmaster Dog Training (BMK9)

What they offer

BMK9 Dog Training, previously known as Beastmaster Dog Training, describes itself as a veteran-owned business located in Norman. Its private training page lists obedience training on and off leash, behavior modification for problems such as leash pulling, chewing, digging and barking, puppy training, behavior assessments, reactivity and aggression modification, and help choosing a dog or breed. Its board-and-train and private lesson pages also name personal protection training.

How the programs work

Every dog starts with a consultation of about two hours that includes a trial private lesson. Private lessons are offered at its location in Lexington, OK, or at the client's home. Board-and-train stays typically run two to five weeks depending on the dog, and the site describes on-leash, hybrid and longer programs that pair the stay with private lessons before and after it.

Who trains

The site names Garrett Bracken as owner and lead trainer and says he trained at Starmark Academy for professional dog trainers. It describes the team as balanced trainers.

Good to know

The site says its trainers are approved AKC evaluators and offers Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog title evaluations, some of them virtually. Ask about current program lengths and pricing when you call.
