About Canine by Design

Canine by Design in Lehi

Canine by Design is a Lehi dog training company serving Alpine, Draper and all of Utah County, with over 20 years of experience across its team. Its credentials include NePoPo Silver and Gold, IGP certified trial helpers, AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluators, police K9 consultants and IACP membership.

Approach

The team designs programs around the dog, the family and the environment they live in, using real-world scenarios, science-backed methods and positive reinforcement. Clients get weekly photo and video updates during programs and owner coaching so results hold after training ends.

Programs

Board & Train has the dog live with an expert trainer. Private coaching runs one-on-one in the client's own environment. Puppy training covers the critical early development window. Service dog training focuses on task work and public access. The team also offers family protection dogs, PSA, IGP and Schutzhund sport preparation, behavior modification for reactivity, aggression, anxiety and fear, and in-home boarding in a trainer's home for current clients. A free phone assessment and financing are available.

What owners say

One Lehi client wrote: "We were ready to give up on our reactive rescue. Six weeks later he greets people on a loose leash."
