About Canine Compassion Dog Training

What they offer

Canine Compassion Dog Training is an Oklahoma City trainer that coaches owners one to one. Its services cover manners and skills training, support for families bringing home a rescue dog, and guidance for owners training their own service dog, from ADA guidelines and owner rights to selecting a dog, task training and public access training. It also offers in-depth consultations.

How they train

The site describes a wellness-first, science-based approach that never uses fear or intimidation and rewards what owners want to see more of. As Family Dog Mediators, the trainers consider a dog's learning history, environment, genetics, age and health.

Good to know

The site says the business was founded in 2021 by Chandra Smiley, a professional trainer and Family Dog Mediator, and that it is certified through Animal Behavior College as a service dog trainer.
