About Canine Elite LLC

Veterinary-trained training in Porter

Canine Elite is a Porter, Texas dog trainer and behavior business serving New Caney, Houston, Kingwood, Humble, Conroe and The Woodlands. Its founder spent 11 years as a veterinary technician before moving into training, and the business cites Animal Behavior College certification, an AKC CGC Evaluator credential, 6+ years of training experience and 100+ dogs trained.

Approach

Canine Elite treats behavior problems as medical, environmental or communication issues and looks for the root cause before building a custom plan. Board and train dogs stay at a dedicated training facility with structured routines, rest periods, enrichment and hands-on training through the day.

Programs

Six tiers of board and train run from 2-week boot camps to 4-week advanced off-leash work, each with daily updates and an owner transition session. Service dog training covers psychiatric support, medical alert, mobility assistance and facility work. Behavior modification targets aggression, reactivity, anxiety and fear. Other services include AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, puppy development, grooming, overnight boarding from $30/day, drop-in visits and dog walking.

What owners say

A New Caney client wrote that her reactive German Shepherd is "calmer, listens" after 3 weeks.
