About Celtic K9 Academy, LLC

What it is

Celtic K9 Academy, LLC is an agility training barn in Fort Atkinson. The site describes the space as "The Agility Barn / A space where agility memories can start and grow for you and your pup," and notes it is "a flexible space that can be used for small or not so small events. It can be rented for private practices, or classes of any kind." It gives its location as "Centrally Located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin … In South Central Wisconsin we are conveniently located between Milwaukee and Madison, WI."

Classes

The site says "Agility Classes are held once a week on Mondays, Tuesday & Thursdays, usually 5-8 weeks depending on our competition schedules," and asks new teams to "Begin your agility journey by introducing yourself and your partner via contacts," with an intro questionnaire linked from the same page. Scent work is a published addition rather than a hint: "Spring 2026 we are adding more classes….introduce your dog to Scent Work. These classes are great for the older, senior dogs, as well as those at least 6 mos of age or older." Session dates for agility and for scent work are listed separately, and the site notes that "Rental is available for days/time when classes are not in session" and that "Current Students are given priority."

Who teaches

The site does not label an owner. Its first-person history is signed "Meriann, Solo (retired), Indy and Dyna" and tells how, "In 2015 my Australian Shepherd … call name 'Solo' and I were introduced to agility," with a first competition trial in January 2016 and championship titles across several venues since. Under "Meet Our Instructors" the site names "Pam Ladewig," described as "a speech-language pathologist who recently retired after working in the Milwaukee Public Schools," who "currently takes agility classes in person at CSZ and teaches agility at WWCDTC," and "Becki Hirschy for Scent Work Classes," who the site says "has been training scent work for 5 years" and teaches at two other clubs.
