About Central Pet Tucson

What they offer

Central Pet Tucson is a pet resort on North Jackrabbit Avenue that has offered boarding, daycare, grooming and training since 2007. The site says that as of January 1, 2026 it operates under the name Colibri Pet Resort.

Classes

The training program runs weekly 45-minute group classes. Basic Obedience is for dogs over 6 months and covers basic commands, impulse control, socialization, potty training and leash walking. Intermediate and advanced classes build on that with more focus, distance, duration and distractions.

Private lessons and board and train

One-on-one sessions take place on site and suit puppies learning manners, dogs with aggression or fearfulness, or owners fine-tuning advanced skills. A two-week board and train includes boarding, daily training and an exit session showing what the dog has learned. Class spots are requested through a form and confirmed by staff.
