Circle K9 in Magnolia

Circle K9 is a dog training facility at 18525 Horseshoe Trail in Magnolia, Texas, formed in 2011 by David Ketterer and now owned by head trainer Lauren Cooper, who lives on site. The climate-controlled facility sits on a 3-acre property. Lauren brings over a decade of hands-on animal experience across livestock, equine and veterinary settings, and she is a certified dog trainer specializing in obedience, behavior modification and working dog development.

Method

Circle K9 trains through love, structure and positive pressure, a pressure-and-release approach that encourages growth through guidance, with positive reinforcement and clear communication.

Board and train programs

Puppy Imprinting (2 weeks, under 5 months) is $1,350. Advanced On-Leash Obedience (4 weeks) is $2,550, Basic Off-Leash Obedience (6 weeks) $3,150 and Advanced Off-Leash Obedience (8 weeks) $3,950. Ultimate Companion Training (12 weeks, 6 months and older) adds public field trips and lifestyle training, priced on contact. Private lessons are included with each program. Graduates can add boarding with training and a 10-day treadmill program. Evaluations are free.
