About Circle T Retrievers

What they offer

Circle T Retrievers is a family-run gun dog training and breeding kennel at 13165 E Old Hwy 66 in Arcadia. It trains hunting companions for waterfowl and upland birds and aims to have dogs hunt test ready. It also breeds, raises and sells dogs, mainly Chocolate Labs, as puppies and trained dogs.

How they train

The kennel works at each dog's pace and wants owners to understand every exercise. Clients are encouraged to take part in their dog's training so they can work the dog confidently themselves; the site asks that these sessions be scheduled at least two business days in advance.

Good to know

The owner describes working for a professional gun dog trainer for several years before starting the kennel in his hometown. This is specialist retriever work rather than pet obedience.
