We worked with Clever Canine Companion to tackle some challenges with our 1-year-old Bernedoodle. We were looking to improve some basics, like good walking and greeting new people, but the biggest issue was his refusal to get in the car. This was causing a lot of difficulty, and all the methods we tried were not working. We booked him with CCC for a one-month board and train and have done multiple follow-up lessons. The results have been amazing. Working with Nicole and Marissa, our dog achieved the confidence and ability to do the things he needs to do, and we have also learned a lot about how to communicate and work with him to keep him on track. We’re in a great place now with him, thanks to the work of Clever Canine Companion.

We realized pretty early that our puppy needed training, but we didn’t realize that puppy training could start so early. At 9 months, She was too young for “Dog”, and too old for “puppy”. We found Nicole and Marissa through friends and I’m so glad we did. Nicole came to our home to see our pup in her own environment and spoke with us about puppy training solutions Clever Canine Companion could offer. It was great because the training offered was custom to our needs and our puppy’s skill level.

We chose the board and train option and it has worked out really well for our family. After her initial training and boarding we did in depth hands on training with Nicole and learned tips and tricks that our pup already knew, but we needed to learn.

Their communication has been great pre, during and post training. They have followed up and answered any questions we had or have. Nicole also came to our home a week or so after the program to see how we were doing and help us with any issues we had.

Very happy with their pup training and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog obedience or training in the Toledo and Northwest Ohio area.

Jasmine has made huge progress after her stay at Clever Canine Companion. She could never be contained in a crate and now she willingly goes in. Due to the fact she had been a Covid pup, Jasmine was never fond of strangers. She is now learning that the outside world is ok and not all strangers are going to harm her. Not only is she learning, so are we. Thank you again to Nicole and company for opening up a new world for Jasmine🐾💕

For being new to the area, and being worried to have my pup go anywhere. They made it known that everything was okay! Constant updates, photos, videos. My pup needed a bigger playmate and he found a new friend there. I highly recommend!!!!

Nicole was amazing to work with. It was wonderful that she came to us for training so our puppy could build up her confidence at home first. She taught us such great things and our puppy responded extremely well. We would totally recommend her and her company/ staff! They are knowledgeable and extremely experienced!
