Cold Nose Canine
Overview
About Cold Nose Canine
Fear and aggression specialist
Cold Nose Canine specializes in fearful and aggressive behavior. The owner reports more than 20 years of experience, and two consultants assist depending on client needs and location. Services are available throughout southeast Wisconsin.
Private training
Private sessions start with an in-home consultation at your residence and include a written training plan, handouts and support between appointments. There is no minimum number of visits, and all breeds and puppies are welcome.
Group classes and workshops
Canine Foundations is a six-week class of 50-minute sessions on practical, real-life skills, and Beyond Foundations moves on to distance cues, advanced leash walking and bigger distractions. Classes are limited to six dog-and-human teams and are held in West Bend. Workshops include an introduction to nose work and a session for shy dogs; enrichment services and presentations are also offered.
Method
The site says all techniques are positive, pain-free and force-free, with no choke chains, prong collars or electronic collars.
What to ask
Ask whether a private consultation or a class fits your dog, when the next class session starts, and whether your area is covered for in-home visits.
