About Confident Canines LLC by Las Vegas Animal Behavior

What they offer

Confident Canines is run by Eileen Koval, who describes herself as an applied animal behaviorist working difficult, complex behavior cases across the Las Vegas Valley. Its services include aggressive dog behavior modification, puppy training, separation anxiety, obedience and manners, agility classes and snake avoidance, and it also takes cat, parrot and horse behavior issues.

How it works

All first-time appointments are virtual, and local follow-ups may be in person. The site says the virtual start lets her watch a dog's body language without the stress of a visitor and keeps things safe with aggressive dogs until safety protocols are set. Training avoids shouting, fear and painful tools such as shock, prong collars and leash corrections.

Credentials

The site lists an M.S. in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare from Husson University, CDBC, CBCC-KA and CPDT-KA, and says other trainers and veterinary clinics in Las Vegas and Henderson refer cases to her.
