About CT Breeder

About

CT Breeder is a puppy store with a Newington location on the Berlin Turnpike, alongside its original Norwalk store, selling designer and purebred puppies along with grooming, pet supplies and dog training. The business says it was established in 1984 and that its owners have over forty years of experience with puppies and dogs.

Training

Training is handled by a team working under Ivan Kovach and Gary Newman, whom the store describes as recognized leaders in dog training, behavior and obedience; Gary has trained dogs since 1978. Every new puppy purchase comes with a free lifetime dog training program.

What owners say

One customer who bought a Yorkie wrote that "the staff really knew their stuff. They helped me get her trained."

What to ask

Ask whether training is available without a puppy purchase, how sessions are scheduled at Newington, and about pricing.
