Dog Gone Right is a training and daycare business at 20484 Highway 190 East in Hammond that counts more than 625 dogs trained. Programs and prices

Day training offers one-on-one sessions for tricks and manners, and board and train adds home manners and field trips. Manners Classes cost $185, include a clicker, and cover watch me, sit, down, come, stay, loose leash walking, place, door manners, targeting, impulse control, leave it and give and take. Classes are capped at six dogs, and the first session is a humans-only orientation on how dogs learn. Shelter and veterinary staff, repeat customers and rescued dogs get $10 off. K9 Nose Work and AKC Scent Work classes, doggie daycare and grooming round out the services.
