About Dog’s Day Inn Pet Resort

A Lake Houston pet resort

Dog's Day Inn Pet Resort runs its Atascocita location at 5123 Atascocita Road in Humble, near Highway 59 and FM 1960. The family-owned business says it has served Kingwood, Atascocita and Humble since 1990, and it keeps a second location in Kingwood. Boarding, daycare, grooming, training and cat boarding all happen under one roof.

The facility

The resort describes a cage-free boarding philosophy with climate-controlled private suites, quiet hallway rooms, and indoor/outdoor runs with doggie-door access to a covered patio for more active dogs. Caregivers stay on site around the clock, every day of the year. Daycare includes supervised outdoor play in shaded yards, pool time in the summer and structured rest periods, and a bath and brush can be added before a dog goes home.

Hours and contact

The Atascocita office is open Monday to Friday 7am-6pm, Saturday 8am-5pm and Sunday 10am-3pm. Call (281) 441-4300 or email dogsdayinnatascocitatx@gmail.com to book or schedule a tour.

What to ask

Training is one of the five services on the menu. Ask what the training program involves, who teaches it, whether it runs during a boarding stay or as separate lessons, and what it costs.
