About Dog Training by Bob Maida

Bob Maida Dog Training is an in-home operation based in Yonkers and working across Westchester County. Its street address is for records only; all training happens in and around the dog's home, so there is nowhere to visit.

The four tracks

The site is organized around four things. Puppy house training covers basic commands, in-home manners, and appropriate socializing with people, dogs and the environment. Training programs are described as customized to each dog's temperament, working sit, stay, recall, leash manners and impulse control toward calm responses in real situations. A separate section answers common puppy-training questions. Separation anxiety has its own page, worked through consistent routines, calm departures and behavior modification rather than as an add-on.

Credential

The site references IACP, the International Association of Canine Professionals. That is a claim made by the business.

Coverage

The site describes work across Yonkers, Westchester and the New York City area, which is a wider radius than most of the in-home trainers here.
