Dogtown Pet Spa St. George is one of three Dogtown locations in Utah, alongside Draper and West Jordan, offering luxury boarding, daycare, grooming and training. Dogtown describes itself as Utah's premier luxury dog boarding, daycare, grooming and training destination since 2019, and new dogs start with a temperament test. It partners with shelters and rescues in the Salt Lake and St. George area to train and lodge adoptable dogs free of charge.

Training programs

Dogtown's training programs include a Day & Train program ($150) with 15 training sessions, video demonstrations, a report card and a 30-minute go-home lesson, using positive reinforcement to teach commands. Private lessons are $100. A 6 Week Program ($799) combines three Day & Train sessions with three 60-minute in-home lessons. Puppy Bootcamp ($995) gives seven days of one-on-one training over two weeks plus a private follow-up lesson, and there is an Adult Bootcamp. A training consultation is $65 at Dogtown or $125 at your home, waived with a package.

The team

Maren Simmons is Dogtown's head dog trainer and has been with the company since the beginning, and its trainers include Jacque Olson and Shaycee Sizemore.
