About DogWorx Academy

A training academy northeast of Austin

DogWorx Academy serves Hutto and the area just northeast of Austin from a Taylor, Texas, base. Rob Dunn and Jessy Gabriel founded it in 2014, and the academy cites over 40 years of combined training experience between them. It offers customized training for dogs and owners of all ages, experience levels and interests, from basic manners and obedience to behavior issues and competition in dog sports.

Programs and mission

Training lines include PuppyWorx, PetWorx, SportWorx and specialized training. The trainers say they have trained thousands of dogs and over 1200 professional dog trainers, and build each program around the dog's needs after an evaluation. The academy's mission includes supporting Meerhout Shepherds by training, importing and producing German Shepherd Dogs.
