Domestic Dog Training is a 22 Acre facility at 59 Autumn Drive in Tilton offering boarding, training, grooming, daycare, day training and classes. It was founded by Steve Bunce, who started with a small in-home training business, and it has grown into a full-service facility. Steve is listed as founder and co-owner, a Certified Master Dog Trainer, CPDT-KSA, IACP member and AKC CGC Evaluator, with Cortney Penta as co-owner and Cailey Clogston, CPDT-KSA, among the trainers.

Approach

The team takes an individualized approach to every program, combining proven training methods with an understanding of canine behavior and learning theory, and tailoring the work to each dog's temperament, environment and goals. It stresses honesty and clear communication about what owners can realistically expect, and avoids gimmicks and quick fixes. The goal is for every owner to feel confident, capable and in control of their dog, from foundational obedience to more advanced behavior work.
