About FreeLance Dog Training
What they offer
FreeLance Dog Training serves the Front Range, including Denver, Boulder and Longmont. Its Good Dog Course is four private classes at the client's home or a nearby park for dogs with minor issues such as mouthing, jumping or barking, covering commands like come, sit, down, stay, heel, place and leave it. The Companion Dog Course is for dogs with reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, wariness of strangers, fear aggression or impulse control problems, and for owners aiming at off-leash obedience or the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
Other programs
Day training works like daycare, but the trainer trains the dog through the day; stay and train has the trainer house-sit while the dog is trained. Both include private sessions to show owners how to keep the new skills. After at least 4 private classes, dogs can join the Companion Dog Club, group classes held 4 times a month at parks and dog-friendly places, where AKC certifications are also tested.
Service and therapy dogs
The trainer works with psychiatric service dogs and mobility support service dogs and prepares dogs and handlers for therapy dog certification, using a personalized mix of private classes, group classes and board and train. A free consultation is offered.
