About Great Plains Kennels LLC

What they offer

The Great Plains Kennels in Silver Lake, Kansas describes itself as "Retriever Training & Boarding". Its Training Programs page sets out a Retriever Program in three levels: Started Retriever (force fetch, one to two marks, an introduction to pile work), Advanced Retriever (double marks, pile work, pattern blinds, an introduction to casting) and Finished Retriever (casting, cold blinds and honoring other dogs, all under multiple gunfire shots).

For family dogs

The same page lists an Obedience / Puppy Program described as "Foundational manners and control for family dogs and young pups": recall, heel walking on and off leash, heel sit, place board and kenneling on command.

Boarding

The kennel also boards dogs, with daily exercise on the ground its retrievers train on.

Before you book

The site names Devin Dultmeier as the trainer and says training spots are limited. Book an evaluation or call to talk through your dog's goals, and ask how long each program level usually takes.
