About Griffin & Howe

What they offer

Griffin & Howe is a long-established sporting company on Stanhope Road in Andover whose gundog department trains sporting dogs.

Training

The gundog program is rooted in obedience and specializes in retrievers and flushing dogs. A puppy program builds confidence and early skills through environmental exposure and socialization, a started program establishes rules in and out of drive for land and water work, and an advanced program uses complex setups for hunts and hunt tests. Dogs are prepared for UKC and AKC hunt tests, and training takes place on the varied grounds of a large farm property. Owners are encouraged to join at certain stages.
