About Happy Hound Dog Resorts

Beach Blvd resort

The Beach Blvd location of Happy Hound Dog Resorts, at 11000-203 Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, is one of two sites run by this woman-owned, veteran-owned and locally owned business, which has operated since 2014. The facility covers 11,200 square feet, with 42 luxury kennels and 2 VIP kennels for boarding and 5,000 square feet of daycare space. Its sister site is on Shirley Ave.

Care and training

Alongside boarding and daycare, Happy Hound offers grooming and dog training, which can be added to a daycare day or an overnight stay. Dogs play on an air-conditioned indoor floor with separate small and large dog areas, and owners can check in on live web cams. At Beach Blvd, The Club offers unlimited daycare for $300 per month per dog, standard daycare is $36 a day for the first dog, and new customers get their first day free.

Hours and contact

Beach Blvd is open 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends. Call (904) 800-8800 and choose extension 2.

What to ask

Ask what the training add-on covers, who runs it, and how it is priced with daycare or boarding.
