About Happy Tails Training Center

Happy Tails Training Center is a West Salem training business that splits its offer into three named tracks rather than one general program. Its own summary of who it serves: "Certified trainers in West Salem, WI helping families, competitors, and therapy teams build lasting skills." The site describes its catchment as the Coulee Region – "We serve families, competitors, and therapy dog teams in the Coulee Region. Whether you need quick solutions for everyday behavior problems or advanced coaching for competition, we provide structured, effective programs that deliver results."

The three tracks

The published menu is Family Dogs, Sport Dogs and Therapy Dog Training, with a fourth "Just For Fun!" lane alongside them, and each has its own page. The family track is pitched at everyday problems – the site offers "quick solutions for everyday behavior problems" and invites owners to "Start Your Family Dog Class." The sport track is pitched at handlers, with "advanced coaching for competition." The therapy track is the one the site treats as a pathway rather than a class, inviting owners to "Start the Path to Certification." Owners register through the site's own "Register Today!" page.

The center and the team

The site credits Tracy Harper as the lead: "Happy Tails Training Center is led by Tracy Harper, a professional dog trainer with advanced education in animal science. Along with her team of certified instructors, Tracy brings decades of combined experience in family dog training, competition obedience, and therapy dog preparation." On the facility it says, "In 2024, Happy Tails expanded into a 6,000+ sq. ft. training facility in West Salem. The new space allows us to offer larger group classes, specialized programs, and new enrichment activities."

What clients are told they get

The site lists what training there includes: "Certified and highly experienced instructors," "A modern, fully equipped training space," "Customized programs for family, competition, and therapy goals," and "Support that continues beyond class sessions." Ask which body certifies the instructors, and ask about prices for each track.
