About High Caliber Working Dog Training
What they offer
High Caliber Working Dog Training is an owner-operated training business in Upland run by Andrew Pena, who says he has trained professionally since 2018 and worked with dogs since 2010. He runs every program himself at the Upland facility, six days a week with two sessions a day.
Programs
The four-week board and train teaches sit, down, stay, come, heel and place, proofed in real environments, and the eight-week version adds more repetitions and heavier distraction. A Raise and Train program raises and trains a dog to the owner's lifestyle. Behavior modification is offered for reactive, anxious or fearful dogs, and a separate aggressive dog training program takes on dogs that other trainers turned away. Puppy training and house training, including crate training and potty schedules, round out the menu.
After training
Every program starts with a free consultation, and graduates receive three to six private follow-up sessions so the new behaviors carry over at home.
