Hoosier Pup is led by Corey Plunkett and serves the Bloomington, Indiana area with over two decades of experience working with thousands of dogs and owners. The business is dedicated to developing and improving the relationship between a dog and its owner, working with the whole family rather than the dog alone.

Approach

The philosophy is a common-sense, balanced training method. Plunkett emphasizes that dogs are pack animals begging for leadership and that properly trained humans can be a dog's best friend, so owner education sits at the center of every program.

Programs

Services include puppy classes, basic obedience, and behavior modification covering aggression, leash reactivity, pulling, jumping, barking, resource guarding, separation anxiety, chewing, digging and general disobedience. Training is delivered as in-home private sessions, with group classes available to existing clients.
