Human-Animal Solutions is the practice of Ann R. Howie, a licensed clinical social worker, certified CARAT assessor and certified canine fitness trainer who has worked with people and dogs for more than three decades, from animal-assisted therapy to dog training and canine wellness. She works from a shared training building on 30th Avenue NE in Lacey.

Services

Therapy dog work includes training, assessment and consultation for volunteers, therapists and facilities. CARAT assessments help owners understand their dog's character traits so they can match the dog to the job and training method that suit it best, and can screen a dog before it joins a family. Service dog consulting and canine fitness guidance are also offered.
